Mid-Atlantic

League Players Going Above and Beyond

In the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section, tennis players come from all walks of life, experiences, and backgrounds. Through a shared passion for tennis, all types of people unite to create a fun and well-rounded community. And in USTA Mid-Atlantic Leagues, you experience this sense of community first-hand. We would not have this wonderful tennis community without our adult players who bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the courts.

Within our special tennis community are those players that serve as first responders, taking care of others in an emergency and other situations, and team captains. These two groups selflessly serve not only the tennis community but our wider Mid-Atlantic community members both on and off the tennis court. To show our appreciation, USTA Mid-Atlantic recognized two “First Responders of the Month” and created the “Captain of the Month” recognition program. Each month, a winner is selected from USTA Mid-Atlantic adult League captains nominated by YOU. Then we send them a $100 credit to use toward their USTA League fees and list the winners right here.
