Road to Citi Open Team Challenge

Play Your Way to Celebrate the Citi Open

The Citi Open is back in action this summer and we are excited to celebrate Washington D.C.’s summer tennis tradition with the entire Section. We’ve planned a fun way for youth tennis players to join in the excitement of the Citi Open through a special series of events they can play in and have fun! As a lead-up to the Citi Open, USTA Mid-Atlantic and tennis providers around the region are hosting the Road to Citi Open Team Challenge Series. These events are designed for players aged 6-12 who are looking for additional play in a FUN and inclusive environment.

The Road to Citi Open Team Challenge Series is intended to give juniors play opportunities in a low-pressure team environment. This allows children to develop their skills through level-based play without an emphasis on instruction or results. Through short-timed matches, participants will enjoy cooperative play, team camaraderie and will have FUN.

Events are starting to register in your area today. Make sure you and your junior player get in on the excitement by using the easy registration forms below or by visiting www.playtennis.usta.com/programming. Then make sure to filter to Team Challenges in the Mid-Atlantic Section. From there you will be able to find all of the Road to Citi Open Team Challenges registering in the Section.

To keep it easy and efficient, we have compiled the list below of events and Providers that you can find and are taking registrations now. If you don’t see an event registering in your area, stay tuned because we are adding more events daily.
