USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation Red Ball Team League

March 27, 2024

The USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation is excited to announce a new team-based pilot program aimed at introducing young players from first through sixth grade to the sport of tennis. Our new red ball team league offers initial instruction and practice and then transitions to weekly matchplay, creating an atmosphere of learning and fun!

Our Red Ball Team League is structured around 8 to 12 dynamic sessions, providing ample opportunity for players to learn through play. The initial sessions focus on learning tennis fundamentals and putting them into practice. As the league progresses, participants are organized into teams and participate in one hour of organized match play. The final session includes an end of season celebration.

Red Ball Team League Benefits:

  • 8 to 12 sessions with scheduling details provided by coaches

  • Participants receive a racket, ball, and instruction for practicing at home

  • A 4:1 player to coach ratio for more individualized instruction

  • Opportunity for both singles and doubles match play with simplified play & scoring rules

  • Opportunity to celebrate with an end of season party

  • Emphasis on teamwork and fun!

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant and growing tennis community. Sign up for the Red Ball Team League today and unleash your inner tennis star!
