A Young Competitor

November 14, 2018

Tough competitors don’t always come in large packages. New Jersey’s June Greene, 11, certainly proves that.

Greene, from Burlington, N.J., first picked up a racquet at the age of 2 and hasn’t looked back.

These days, she competes in USTA Tournaments and plays as often as she can with her friends and her dad. Greene is also well-rounded off the court, competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and singing in her spare time.

Earlier this year, Greene earned recognition from the New Jersey District, where she was ranked No. 1 in her age group. Greene was honored at the district awards ceremony in April.

Greene continues to compete throughout New Jersey and beyond.
