USTA Middle States Announces Premier Providers for 2025-26



 

USTA Middle States recently announced its list of Premier Providers for 2025-26.

 

First established in 2013, Middle States Premier Providers are selected based on their delivery of high-quality tennis programming, their engagement with the USTA and local stakeholders, and their efforts in fostering an inclusive, growth-based tennis environment. Premier Providers are also required to display a commitment to USTA Safe Play.

The 28 Middle States Premier Providers receive a number of perks, including but not limited to:

 

  • A financial stipend of $500 

  • Premier Provider signage

  • Access to the USTA Middle States’ Digital Marketing Support Program (Includes marketing stipends, 1:1 coaching from SEO and digital experts, technical assistance and virtual trainings)

  • USTA Middle States Premier Provider Banner / Plaque

  • PR Opportunities including an ad in NetPLAY Magazine and a listing on the USTA Middle States website and social media accounts

  • Special Access to USTA Special Events and Trainings

  • Free USTA Coaching Rally Membership for one coach.

     

To be considered for 2025-26 Middle States Premier Provider status, organizations had to meet the following qualifications:

 

  • Organizational Member in Good Standing: Organizations must hold an active USTA Organizational Membership and be in good standing.

  • Commitment to Safe Play: All teaching coaches at your facility or within your organization must be Safe Play approved.

  • Tennis Development & Growth Alignment: Organizations must demonstrate a clear impact on the growth of tennis through programming, events, or outreach efforts. The Facility/Organization must show a positive influence in the Coaches / Players / Facilities focus areas. Areas to consider include but are not limited to:

    • Adaptive or Wheelchair Tennis

    • All-Purpose Tennis Programming

    • Player Retainment & Progression

    • USTA Programming (i.e. Leagues, Tournaments, Red Ball, etc.)

    • Schools Tennis

  • Coach Education & Training: Organizations should show a commitment to continuing education opportunities for staff. This includes RSPA, PTR, or other educational efforts. 

  • Technology & Growth: Where applicable, organizations should utilize up-to-date technology and programming (court booking software, responsible use of customer data) and have proven growth and marketing strategies in their local communities. 

  • Facility Maintenance & Upkeep: Facilities programmed by Premier Providers must be well maintained structurally, safe, and visibly appealing. The Organization should show an investment in the safety and quality of their courts through routine maintenance and upkeep, keeping courts and all facilities associated with the Organization up to current standards. Organizations that operate out of public facilities (P&R, High Schools, etc.) should show a commitment to working with key stakeholders to keep the courts in good standing.
