District Closed Championships
Coming up: The chance to compete against the top players of your district – many of our District Closed Championships will occur this spring and summer. These events are closed to players within each district, and many offer the chance to earn wildcards to the District Team Cup and Midwest Closed, so be sure to register with the links below!

District Team Cup: June 17-19, 2022
Registration is now open for the District Team Cup! Each summer, juniors from around the Midwest represent their districts in an exciting team competition. This is a Closed Level 4 tournament, and match play will consist of a round-robin format throughout the weekend, concluding with the top teams advancing to the championship match. Help bring home the trophy to your district. The deadline to register is May 15th, so be sure to sign up today!

Easter Bowl Results
Top players from across the Midwest showed out for the FILA Easter Bowl. We’re shining a spotlight on AJ Mercer (16; Ohio Valley) who won the Boys’ 16s doubles title with his playing partner Matthew Forbes from the Southern Section. The Easter Bowl serves as the USTA National Spring Championships and was played at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California, with singles and doubles competition across the 18s, 16s, 14s and 12s age groups. Each year, the Section looks forward to selecting its spring-time award winners and scholarship recipients; we want to help players who are striving to achieve success. We encourage all individuals to make a nomination or submit an application!
USTA Midwest Awards:

USTA Midwest Scholarships and Grants:
Submit your application here. Deadlines are May 15 and September 15.

INVITE A FRIEND TO TRY TENNIS FOR FREE
For the second year in a row, we are hosting FREE and FUN Play Tennis Midwest events on a court near you. These are opportunities for new players and returning players to pick up a racquet and start playing — kids and adults alike. Whether it’s someone’s first time on the courts or they’re making a comeback, we welcome everyone! These events have zero cost to play with racquets provided for anyone who needs one! Spread the word and share our website with your friends and family.
