July 21, 2022

Registration for Midwest's most prestigious junior tournament is still open! As a reminder, new this year for BG16s-18s, the Midwest Section will award the singles winner of each age division a spot into the new Level 1 Battle of the Sections tournament July 31-August 3. Some of the biggest USTA Junior Level 1 National Championships are well underway! The National Clay Courts concluded yesterday, July 17. Coming up next are the USTA National Championships, happening August 4-14. The start and end dates will depend on the player's age division. Learn more about qualifying here, and if you’re looking for the 2022 National Junior Tournament Calendar, you can find it right here.

Take a break from summer singles tournaments and pair up – take part in our Midwest Summer Doubles Championships taking place July 30-31. The National Combined Standings List (NSL) adds in 15% of the points earned from doubles results, and these events offer a great opportunity to maximize ranking points for doubles. These tournaments will be 16-team compass draw formats, and BG12s, BG14s, and BG18s will offer both gender and mixed doubles. That means double the doubles points! The registration deadline is July 21, so be sure to use the links below to sign up today.

BG12s: Toledo, OH (Gender & Mixed Doubles)
BG14s: Perrysburg, OH (Gender & Mixed Doubles)
BG16s: Whitewater, WI (Gender Doubles)
BG18s: Greencastle, IN (Gender & Mixed Doubles)

In an effort to promote a more enjoyable and fair experience for all, USTA Midwest has implemented a Zero Tolerance Policy on improper behavior at our elevated junior tournaments. This policy will be in place for all spectators (parents, coaches, friends, relatives, etc.) so please be sure to review it in detail. You can also reference our new Tournament Parent Guide that helps lay out the roles and responsibilities of a parent at junior tournaments.

Be sure to check out ALL upcoming tournaments with open registration by clicking the button below. Use filters to find events by gender, age, level, distance and format. If registration is open, you'll be able to sign up for the divisions you want to enter.
