Brief History of Organization:
Quincy Tennis Association (QTA) is a group of tennis enthusiasts who enjoy the sport and want to share their passion for the game. QTA has existed since the early 1900s. It started as a club. Then it began to offer more local tennis tournaments, leagues, youth programs and events known as "TennisFEST" days.
Programs and Services Offered:
- Quincy Tennis Association Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles Championships (annually, singles in June, doubles in July, mixed doubles at the end of October)
- The Middle School CLUB Tennis Team programs coordinated by Ethan Arns, PTR, the Women's and Men's Head Tennis Coach at Quincy University (program occurs every fall with Coach Arns utilizing his NCAA D-II tennis team players at all Comet and "Hot Shot" Sunday practices, match play and competitions)

What Is One Thing You Want Everyone To Know About Your CTA:
Quincy Tennis Association is made up of highly engaging and energetic volunteers who plan, run and execute a wide-variety of tennis programming at public and private tennis courts in and around the Quincy, Adams County Illinois area (75-100+ mile radius). QTA coordinates very well with the local Quincy Racquet Club, also known as the Quincy Racquet and Pickleball Club, that has four indoor tennis courts and three outdoor courts. QTA also coordinates with the Quincy Park District that has nine tennis courts at the Clarence "Candy" Greeman Tennis Center (24th and Chestnut, Reservoir Park) as well as four tennis courts at South Park (12th and Jackson) and two tennis courts at Madison Park (24th and Maine). The association also collaborates with the Great River Tennis Association (Mark Schuering, President) and the local Quincy Public and Private Schools and Home School Associations.
