UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS
OPEN LEVEL 4 DOMINANT DUO: AUG. 31 - SEPT. 2
Celebrate Labor Day weekend at our last Dominant Duo event of the summer. This is a two-player team event where players can sign-up with a partner and each play one singles match and one doubles match per round. The tournament takes place Aug. 31 through Sept. 2, and the last day to sign up is Thursday, Aug. 22.

BATTLE OF THE MISSISSIPPI
Good news from our Battle of the Mississippi tournament; Team Midwest gets to keep the traveling trophy because we won! Congratulations to our players who fought hard to represent our section. We're grateful to USTA Missouri Valley and USTA Northern for partnering with us on another fun intersectional tournament.
BATTLE OF THE SECTIONS
July was a busy month for our junior competitors! We had 16 young athletes play for the Midwest team at the Level 1 Battle of the Sections event. Our girls came in 3rd place!
TEENS CHANGING THE GAME
Two Midwest teenagers—Annabelle Murphy, 17, and Sharla Plier, 15—who play alongside their able-bodied peers are a living example of the more inclusive era that's blooming in tennis.
