BATTLE OF THE MISSISSIPPI

Good news from our Battle of the Mississippi tournament; Team Midwest gets to keep the traveling trophy because we won! Congratulations to our players who fought hard to represent our section. We're grateful to USTA Missouri Valley and USTA Northern for partnering with us on another fun intersectional tournament.

BATTLE OF THE SECTIONS

July was a busy month for our junior competitors! We had 16 young athletes play for the Midwest team at the Level 1 Battle of the Sections event. Our girls came in 3rd place!

TEENS CHANGING THE GAME

Two Midwest teenagers—Annabelle Murphy, 17, and Sharla Plier, 15—who play alongside their able-bodied peers are a living example of the more inclusive era that's blooming in tennis.
