FOUNDATION NEWS
GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
Apply today to become a grant or scholarship recipient. The USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation (MTEF) offers a variety of funds to help players pursue their tennis dreams! The deadline to apply is August 31st. Find a full list of grants and scholarships.
MTEF PARTNERING WITH TENNISTEC
A new partnership between MTEF and TennisTEC will see that 5% of proceeds from TennisTEC’s tennis simulator will be donated annually to MTEF for the next two years! The simulator in Novi, Michigan, is designed for able-body and wheelchair players to play, train and analyze their game year-round. It’s the first of its kind in the country! Similar to a golf simulator, it uses video-capturing software to break down a player’s strokes, serves and rallies. The best part is that you get to hit real tennis balls, and you don’t have to pick them up afterward. The money donated to MTEF will go directly toward tennis and educational opportunities for youth and players of all ages with disabilities. What are you waiting for? Check out the tennis simulator today!
