HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
On the south side of South Bend, Indiana, La Casa de Amistad shines as a beacon of hope and support for the Latine/Hispanic community. La Casa de Amistad is a youth and community center that empowers more than 40,000 people per year with a wide range of programs throughout Northern Indiana. This summer, they provided tennis lessons thanks to junior tennis player, Quinn Lippert. With help from his mom, Darla Lippert, the Board President of La Casa de Amistad, his friends and volunteers, Quinn introduced tennis to 136 kids at summer camps last season. Great work, Quinn!
