2018 Champions of Tennis

McConnell & Associates, and Kevin Heim were named "Champions of Tennis" by Tennis Industry Magazine.

 

The awards, which are in their 18th year, spotlight "the unheralded heroes of this sport and this business. These individuals and organizations continue to go above and beyond in helping to make a difference in this industry."

 

Kansas City, Missouri based McConnell & Associates was named the Builder/Contractor of the Year. The company has likely had a role in installing or upgrading the tennis courts you regularly play on across the USTA Missouri Valley. Tennis Industry Magazine highlighted that the company as been a member of the American Sports Builders Association for nearly 30 years. 

 

Kevin Heim, director of tennis at Woods Tennis Center, was named the Wheelchair Tennis Champion of the Year. Heim coached the USTA National Wheelchair Quad Team at the World Team Cup in the Netherlands, and serves as a regional representative for USTA wheelchair tennis. He also works locally with a number of individuals many of which he connects with locally through Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals.
