A message to the USTA Heart of America community about 2026 schedule changes
USTA Heart of America Community,
Thank you for being such an important part of our tennis community. Your enthusiasm, flexibility and continued participation is what makes tennis in USTA Heart of America truly special, and we are incredibly grateful for each of you.
As many of you know, this year’s schedule looks a little different than in the past. These adjustments are due to an extraordinary opportunity for our city: Kansas City is hosting World Cup matches, welcoming more than 600,000 fans from around the world. We are absolutely thrilled to be part of this historic moment for our region.
With the World Cup taking place right in our backyard, we’ve had to make several schedule changes to accommodate the games and the increased activity throughout the city. Please view the USTA League schedule here under USTA Heart of America. We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these necessary adjustments together.
We look forward to introducing many of these visiting fans to the sport of tennis we all love. We’re proud that our community will play a role in showcasing the game to sports fans from around the world. Volunteers are always needed to help with local events. Contact me at ustaheartofamerica@gmail.com, and I’ll get you plugged in.
Thank you again for your continued support and passion for tennis. We can’t wait to share this unique and exciting season with you and are confident it will be one to remember.
With appreciation and excitement,
Rebecca Falkner Axelrod
USTA Heart of America Executive Director
