District Teams Heading to WTT Nationals
Here at USTA Heart of America, we like to champion all things tennis. While World Team Tennis, or WTT for short, is not part of USTA, many of the players in its programs do participate in our leagues and tournaments.
We’re proud to share with you that two teams from our district have won their qualifying events and are headed to WTT Nationals November 18-20 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando! “The Beckoning,” a 4.5 team captained by Jacob Beck, took top honors at the National Qualifier in Raleigh, NC, and “Tragic Show,” a 4.0 team captained by Scott Hanover, won out at the National Qualifier in Springfield, MO. Both teams will face off against teams from across the country that also conquered their respective qualifying events.

"The Beckoning" captain Jacob Beck couldn't be happier about heading to WTT Nationals--and neither could his team. "We're nothing short of ecstatic, excited, and elated," he said. "It was a battle getting here but we have a great team that overcomes all of the obstacles."
These teams will face off against other teams from across the country that also conquered their respective qualifying events.
About World Team Tennis
WTT hosts programs for youth, college-aged, and adult players throughout the year. These programs take place all over the U.S. and can be community events, competitions, or just for fun. Each team formed as part of WTT is coed, and uses no-ad scoring for its matches.

Good luck to both teams! We know it’ll be a blast, and we’re rooting for you.
