It’s been a long winter, but warmer weather will be here before you know it – and so will the upcoming season of USTA Heart of America Leagues! If you’ve spent the last few months dreaming about being back on the courts, we have several league opportunities for you!

Our largest league – the Adult 18 & Over Summer Outdoor League runs April through July. If you need to find a team, contact Terry Miller at ttm10s@aol.com or Sheila Goins at ustaheartofamerica@gmail.com. They can connect you with the coordinator for your level of play.

Mark your calendars for the 2022 18 & Over League Championships July 8-10 at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City. USTA Heart of America also hosts a League Player Appreciation Party during the championships. More information coming soon.

Other concurrent leagues are starting too. Players who want to play in the upcoming 55 & Over Indoor League, which runs May through August, should contact Marianne McGrath by emailing mmcgrath300@gmail.com

Also upcoming – the 65 & Over Indoor Leagues will take place in May and June. Interested players can contact Barbara Meigs via email at bgmeigs@yahoo.com. One lucky team will represent USTA Heart of America at the 65’s Invitational Sectional, which will be held here at Overland Park Racquet Club July 15-17.

We also have summer outdoor 18 & Over Mixed league. If you are interested in captaining a team or looking for a team to play on, contact Jackie Gehrke at jackieg@kc.rr.com. This league runs June through July.
