What is your tennis background?
My tennis journey started three years ago. From the moment I picked up a racquet I fell in love with the sport! The friendships I have made, the thrill of competition, and the sense of accomplishment that comes with improving are all reasons why I love tennis.
What are your goals for USTA Heart of America Leagues for 2023-2024 and beyond?
My goal is to increase the USTA League’s reach and engagement by creating an environment that encourages more clubs and players to actively participate.
Tell us about your favorite tennis moment!
Playing doubles with my best friend of 20-plus years at League Section Championships.
Who is your favorite pro tennis player (past or present)?
Roger Federer because he is the GOAT!
Do you have any advice you'd like to share with players in our district who are interested in joining a league but not sure how to go about it?
Absolutely! If you’re interested in joining a USTA League, visit tennislink.usta.com, create an account, and answer a few questions to get your self-rating. TennisLink will then send us an email with all your information and we will get you connected with a captain in your area. You can also email me directly at hoaleagues@gmail.com if you already have a rating and you’re just looking to be placed in a team!
