NTRP 40+ and Open Section Tournament Rocks the Plaza Tennis Center
The Plaza Tennis Center has been busy hosting several USTA Missouri Valley tournaments this summer, including the NTRP 40+ and Open Section Championships. From July 21-23, players descended on the iconic tennis destination for a weekend full of fun and fierce competition.
While the majority of players hailed from the Kansas City Metro area, this year’s tournament also hosted players from Illinois, South Carolina, Texas, Minnesota, and even as far as Guam! We love to welcome players from other states to our district to share in our love of tennis.
The NTRP 40+ and Open Section tournament allows players to net points toward their NTRP Ranking/Standing, which also counts toward their 2024 NRTP National Championship eligibility, so you can say a lot was on the line for these participants.
