Tournament Season is Approaching–Sign Up Today

It’s time to shake off the winter doldrums and prepare for our favorite season: tournament season! The 2022 USTA Heart of America Adult Tournament Schedule has been posted, and we’re excited to share with you all there is in store. Make sure you mark your calendars for the following tournaments:

USTA Missouri Valley's first L4 Adult Section Tournament will take place April 29 through May 1 at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, MO. Registration is now open; however, the last day to register is April 24, so don’t delay–click here to sign up.

Registration is also open for the USTA Missouri Valley 55+ NTRP & Open Section Championships, which will also be held at the Plaza Tennis Center June 3 through June 5. Reserve your spot today by clicking here, as the last day to register for this tournament is May 29.

The L4 Family Championships will be held at Overland Park Racquet Club June 18 through June 19. This event is a great opportunity for family combos to compete. It's also a great opportunity to spend some quality time with family for Father's Day weekend.

USTA Heart of America will also proudly be the host of the National Husband-Wife Indoor Championships in June. This tournament will also run from June 17 through June 19 at Overland Park Racquet Club. Click here for more information on the tournament.

The Plaza Tennis Center plays host to another tournament, the 40+ NTRP & Open Section Championships, from July 22 through July 24. Registration is open, and the last day to sign up for this event is July 17. Click here to sign up today so you don’t have to worry about it down the road.

MoKanNeb Adult Tournament Series

Playing in tournaments might just pay off if you participate in this year’s MoKanNeb Adult Tournament Series! By playing in the following tournaments across USTA Missouri Valley, you could be eligible to earn prize money, and you’re all but guaranteed to have some fun along the way:

• May 27-29: Omaha Memorial Day Open at the Koch Tennis Center in Omaha, NE (USTA Nebraska)
• June 3-5: Jayhawk Adult Open at Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka, KS (USTA Kansas)
• June 24-26: HOA Kansas City Open at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, Missouri (USTA Heart of America)
• July 23-24: Wichita MTC Open at Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita, KS (USTA Kansas)
