Overland Park Racquet Club in Overland Park, KS, played host to the USTA Missouri Valley 65 & Over Invitational July 15-17. Of the 34 teams that participated in the tournament, USTA Heart of America took home top honors in both Men’s and Women’s draws to advance to the 65 & Over National Championships to be held in Surprise, AZ, in 2023. Please join us in congratulating Team Bennett, a 7.0 Women’s League team, and Team Jackson, a Men’s 9.0 League team, on punching their tickets to Nationals! Way to go!
Not long after, the USTA Missouri Valley 18 & Over 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 55 & Over 7.0 and 9.0 League Section Championships were held at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis August 5-7, and to say the competition was intense is an understatement. While temperatures soared, the level of play was even hotter as teams from all over USTA Missouri Valley took to the courts to battle it out for a spot at the National Championships for their respective league.
USTA Heart of America is proud to announce that four more teams from our district have advanced to Nationals!
