USTA Heart of America to Celebrate the Life of Bill Guilfoil

Family and friends of long-standing tennis community member William Guilfoil (1922 - 2021) welcome the USTA Heart of America tennis community to celebrate his life. Guilfoil passed away on November 12, 2021, less than a week before his 99th birthday. 

 

Guilfoil was a legend in the Kansas City tennis community and beyond. He grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Rockhurst College before serving in the Army during World War II.

 

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 9:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Road, Roeland Park, KS.

 

The Celebration of Life will follow on Sunday, December 12, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Homestead Country Club.
