8th Annual Quad Cities Wheelchair Tourney
After a three- year break because of Covid, the Quad Cities Wheelchair Tournament was back in swing June 16-18, 2023, at the Quad Cities Tennis Club in Moline, Ill.
“It turned out really good,” said organizer Bob Juarez. “I enjoyed people coming from out of town, competing and enjoying the Quad Cities and seeing what we have to offer.”
Juarez said around a dozen players signed up for the event in A, B and C divisions playing both doubles and singles. Players came from Iowa, Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin. There was a total of $2,100 in prize money awarded to the first and second place winners.
