Register for the USTA Iowa Summer Slam adult tournament series

Plan to play some competitive singles tennis this year in the USTA Iowa Summer Slam! USTA Iowa is offering three divisions of play for men and women: 3.5, 4.0 and Open.

 

“Participants must play in at least two of the five tournaments with at least a main-draw win to be eligible to qualify for the season-ending round-robin, which will be the top four players,” said Mark Blume, USTA Iowa executive secretary.

 

Blume is running the USTA Iowa Summer Slam for the first time in about a decade and a half to offer adults additional competitive tournament opportunities. He said the season-ending round-robin doesn’t have a site reserved just yet, but the event would most likely be in early September.

 

Dates and locations for the USTA Iowa Summer Slam qualifying tournaments are as follows:
