Junior Competition Changes for September Events

USTA Missouri Valley section office and Junior Competition Committee are excited to announce two big changes for upcoming September junior tournaments.

 

The first change is that L4 USTA Missouri Valley #4 on September 5-7, 2020 will be converted into a L3 USTA Missouri Valley #1, which will hold 2020 national level 3 points. The dates and facilities for this tournament will remain September 5-7, 2020 at the following sites:

The second announcement is that the USTA Missouri Valley Junior Competition Committee (JCC) is officially reinstating the L3 USTA MV #2 on September 12-14, 2020. The USTA National office recently cancelled nationally sanctioned junior tournaments through October 12,  which provided the section JCC an opportunity to add an event with level 3 section and national points. The sites for this tournament will be at the following sites:

The deadline to register for these events is Tuesday, September 1 at 11:59 p.m. Players can register using the tournament IDs listed above.

 

USTA Missouri Valley will continue to monitor the environment surrounding COVID-19 for any needed adjustments. The JCC and section office are committed to providing a safe and healthy playing environment for our players, spectators, and staff.

 

While the USTA Missouri Valley is fully anticipating starting these tournaments as scheduled, any additional changes will be promptly announced.
