Kansas Closed District Championship Alternative

Kendra Wicks | August 01, 2019

The Kansas Closed District Championship will be held August 17-18, 2019 in Wichita, Kansas. The event will be hosted at Genesis Health Club on Rock Road.

This tournament acts as a second opportunity for the age groups that did not have enough players to complete the draw in the Topeka Closed District Championship.

The tournament allows players an opportunity to play and gain ranking points that they may have otherwise missed out on. For this reason, players who participated in the Topeka District tournament are not permitted to play in this alternative tournament.

The tournament is open to the following divisions:

Boy’s Singles 12-14

Boy’s Doubles 12-14

Girl’s Singles 12-16

Girl’s Doubles 12-16

Entries close on Tuesday, August 13, with the registration fee ranging between $24 and $38 depending on age and level of play.

Follow this link to register for the tournament and get additional information. For further questions, contact tournament director Simon Norman at 316-634-6111.
