Junior Team Tennis Coming to Court Near You
USTA Missouri is calling coaches and parents alike to jump-start its Junior Team Tennis (JTT) efforts for 2021.
While the district lacked a Junior Team Tennis presence in the past, Courtney Nesbitt — USTA Missouri junior and adult competition coordinator — said 2019 ended on a promising note for the future of Junior Team Tennis within the district.
But with the COVID-19 pandemic wiping away any possibility of a 2020 season, Nesbitt is now requesting potential coaches and participants to get in contact with her for a hopeful 2021 reboot of the program. Nesbitt’s goal is to have Junior Team Tennis up and running for this spring, summer and fall.
Interested individuals and any Junior Team Tennis-related questions can be directed to Courtney Nesbitt via email: Courtneytime2grow@outlook.com.
Coaches and parents considering forming a Junior Team Tennis squad should know USTA Missouri requires only a four-person lineup, which creates an easier barrier to entry for assembling teams.
