New USTA Missouri Board of Directors
USTA Missouri has a new board of directors, led by a familiar name in the Springfield-area tennis scene.
Mallory Weber (pictured above) is the new President. Weber recently accepted a position as Community Recreation Coordinator of Cooper Tennis Complex, in Springfield. Weber previously served as the women’s tennis head coach at Missouri State University.
She was hired in February 2014, reviving the program after an eight-season hiatus. Weber guided the Bears to a Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018. Weber has also served as an alternate for World TeamTennis’ Springfield Lasers.
Larry Huitt is the new First Vice-President. Amy Mathew will serve as USTA Missouri’s secretary, while Bill Lingenfelser is the treasurer. Directors at large for the area are Rhonda Kaissi and Kyle Wartick.
