Re-Opening Status for Missouri Tennis Facilities

All USTA programming has begun to resume as of June 1. That means your Missouri clubs and facilities will be open and ready for you soon, with some safety modifications.

 

Camdenton Parks & Rec — The tennis lights have been turned on and will be on from 7-9 p.m. daily through October 

 

Cooper Tennis Complex — The home of the World TeamTennis champion Springfield Lasers is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Members must maintain a 6-foot distance from each other at all times, including play. Singles and doubles play and private lessons may resume, but tennis classes and Cooper Tennis Academy remain closed. The pro shop is open, but the fitness room and community room are closed. Restrooms and locker rooms are open, but showers are closed. Call 417-837-5800 to reserve courts.

 

Country Club of Missouri — Tennis programs have resumed, including adult and junior clinics. Please RSVP. A maximum of four people per court, plus the pro, will be allowed. During lessons and clinics, students will be asked to refrain from touching or picking up any balls. Pro Shop merchandise will be available for purchase, but there will be no member access to the shop itself. Please call to request the item and coordinate safe delivery of goods. 

 

Gillenwaters Tennis Complex — Gillenwaters has opened again. Guests are asked to follow CDC prevention guidelines.

 

Hickory Hills Country Club — Only private and small groups are allowed at this time. Please contact tennis pro Jim Klousia at 417-869-3391 for more information.

 

Highland Springs Country Club — There is currently no programming, though courts are open for members. No large groups are allowed and 6 feet of physical distance is required. For more information contact the Tennis Pro Shop at 417-886-0512.

 

Jefferson City Country Club — Courts are open, but there is no programming at this time.

 

Jefferson City YMCA — The Jefferson City YMCA is in Phase I of its reopening plan. Tennis programs have resumed, but members must maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet and follow other CDC guidelines. For more information call 573-761-9012.

 

Lake Ozarks — This facility has permanently closed.

 

Millennium Family Fitness — Outdoor hard courts are open to members, but there is currently no programming.

 

Millwood Golf & Racquet Club — Group size is limited at this time and the pro shop is closed. For more information contact Amanda Donat at 833-568-3107.

 

Mizzou Tennis Club — The Mizzou tennis complex will reopen in the fall.

 

Southern Hills Swim & Tennis — Visit their website for updates on summer classes will begin.

 

The Club at Old Hawthorne — Open play and clinics for members have resumed. Clinic sizes are limited, only pros may touch the tennis balls and equipment sharing is not allowed. 

 

TurtleBrook Clay Court Club — Call 417-725-1987 for updates.

Wilson’s Beach & Tennis Club — Wilson’s Beach will reopen June 1. They will be hosting summer tennis only.
