USTA Nebraska Call for League Volunteers
Giving back is an important part of life. USTA Nebraska needs volunteer help at the upcoming USTA Missouri Valley League Section Championships on the weekend of September 12-15 at Koch Family Tennis Center in Omaha.
Volunteers are needed to help with check-ins, handing out shirts, assisting officials, reporting scores and running the tournament desk during the event. Some may be asked to rove the courts with walkie-talkies to help get officials to a needed court as fast as possible.
This volunteer position is different than being a USTA certified official. One needs no special training to assist with this event and there is no age stipulation either. Volunteering helps grow the game of tennis right here at the local level in addition to supporting the USTA Missouri Valley.
