Nebraska Senior Games Coming Soon
The Nebraska Senior Games Tennis Tournament is Aug. 6-8 in Kearney. Players who are 50 years and older are eligible to play in the tournament. Matches will be played at Harmon Courts on 3100 5th Avenue.
“The Nebraska Senior Games have been hosted in Kearney for over 30 years and the event keeps growing with participants and sports offered,” said Jade Brown, City of Kearney Recreation Superintendent. “This is a qualifying year to advance to the National Senior Games in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, May 20-23, 2022.”
Doubles will start the tournament out Friday, Aug. 6 at 1:30 p.m. and if needed will be played Saturday, Aug. 7 at 8 a.m. Singles will start on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 8 a.m. (there will be no overlap for those that play both). Mixed Doubles will begin on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. Format will be based on the number of players.
