Doug Stone—2019 Adult Player of the Year

The USTA Oklahoma 2019 Adult Player of the Year is Doug Stone.

 

Stone, a Claremore native, was the 4A #2 Singles High School State Champion. He played basketball at Northeastern State University, and has been a teaching professional at Indian Spring since 2005, and is USPTA certified.

 

Off the court, Doug Stone is the tournament director for several Indian Springs Junior Tournaments. He is married to Ashley and has one son, Max.

 

On the court, Stone is a force as well. He is rated a 5.0 player, has been undefeated in many seasons, and has had very few losses throughout the years.

 

Doug Stone and his USTA teams have won USTA National Championships twice and have been undefeated in District and Section Championships numerous times.
