Edmond Center Court's para-standing tennis tournament

Natalia Arbelaez | October 11, 2025

Edmond Center Court—a USTA Premier Facility—was in line to welcome adaptive tennis athletes for the inaugural Edmond Open Para Standing Championships this October. And while this year's event had to be canceled, play opportunities for para-standing tennis players are on the horizon.

Para-standing tennis is an offering for athletes with physical disabilities who prefer to play from a standing position without the use of a wheelchair. To view previous and upcoming para-standing tennis events taking place around the globe, click here.
