Deck The Halls Doubles Event
The first annual Deck the Halls Doubles Event at LaFortune Park Tennis Center on December 20, 2019, was a fun and successful way to close out 2019.
The tournament, a Junior Team Tennis doubles event, was a fun, low-key, doubles tournament for players between the ages of 13 and 18. Eighteen players from all over Tulsa paired up with a doubles partner and played a round robin super tie break match while enjoying competitive tennis, listening to music, winning prizes, eating pizza, and even dressing up in some festive holiday gear.
Congratulations to the first-place winners Wong and Bailey and second place winners Gillett and Gilbert. Thank you to all who participated and keep a look out for the next Junior Team Tennis doubles event in 2020!
