Junior Team Tennis State Champions Crowned
The top junior tennis teams in Oklahoma had some hard-fought competition July 26 & 27 at LaFortune Park Tennis Center to claim the title of Oklahoma Junior Team Tennis State Champions.
Over 1,300 games and 240 matches were played to decide the 2022 USTA Oklahoma Junior Team Tennis (JTT) District winners. The top two teams from Tulsa and the top two teams from OKC were invited to participate, with players ranging in age from 8 to 18 years old.
This non-advancing Junior Team Tennis (JTT) league is the flagship junior program of the USTA that combines level-based competition with the fun and camaraderie of playing on a team. The State tournament at LaFortune Park Tennis Center not only featured great tennis, but a great atmosphere as well. Players enjoyed the facility’s many amenities, as well as free Josh’s Sno cones throughout the first day.
