Oklahoma Players Representing at the National Senior Games

The National Senior Olympics presented by Humana was recently held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Frank Veltri Tennis Center on May 11-22. Over 650 tennis athletes participated in this National tennis tournament and the Oklahoma men came to represent and did so in a winning fashion. Below are some of the tennis results for Oklahoma Senior Men:

75 Singles - Richard Perry, End - 3rd place

75 Doubles - Richard Perry, Enid - 2nd place (played with Dave Spilseth from MN)

80 Singles - Bob Mason, Tulsa - 1st place

80 Doubles – Larry Dullye, Tulsa – 1st place (played with Walt Murphy, TN)

85 Singles - Ron Perdue, Tulsa - 2nd place

85 Doubles - Ron Perdue, Tulsa - 2nd place (played with Red Sheridan, NC) 

 

The National Senior Games began in 1987 and has grown to become the largest qualified multisport event in the world with 11,903 athletes registered for the 2022 games. The next National Senior Games is set in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on July 7-18, 2023.
