Q&A: Meet Seth Moore, new Oklahoma City adult league coordinator
USTA Oklahoma is excited to introduce Seth Moore as the new Oklahoma City adult league coordinator. With a passion for growing the game, coaching and a dedication to serving local players, Moore is ready to help support the OKC tennis leagues.

Where are you from?
Yukon, Okla.
How long have you been in Oklahoma City?
I graduated high school in 2013 and moved back to the city in 2020.
Where did you go to school?
I went to Cowley College and graduated with a finance degree from Arizona Christian University.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background in tennis?
I played four years collegiately and was an All-American doubles player my senior year. I coached college tennis from 2017-2020. In 2020, I began teaching lessons at the OKC Tennis Center where I am currently working. Now I am the academy director here.
What inspired you to join USTA Oklahoma as the adult league coordinator for Oklahoma City?
I have been around leagues for a very long time. I watched my dad play spanning back to when I was 7 years old. I understand the fun and fellowship that these leagues bring to the city, and I am so excited to be a part of it.
Do you play adult league tennis, too?
I do play adult tennis. My 5.0 team just qualified for nationals last year.
What would you say to someone who is considering joining an adult league for the first time?
Just do it. You are so close to making some of the best memories of your life as well as making amazing friends. Give it a chance and you will not regret it.
What do you think makes the Oklahoma City tennis community special?
The OKC tennis community is a very tightknit community that is always ready to support each other.
Who is your favorite athlete, and why?
Rafael Nadal; I love his intensity and attention to detail.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I love playing golf.
