Find Local USTA St. Louis Adult Tournaments
USTA St. Louis is here to help, and we want to assist in explaining the process of searching for adult tournaments. The district offers a variety of tournaments throughout the year — including two Level 4 Open tourneys taking place this summer you can read more about later in this article. Here’s how to locate them online.
The hub for USTA St. Louis adult tournaments changed from TennisLink to Serve Tennis about a year and a half ago. TennisLink remains the system for players to find adult leagues to participate in. As was the case in the past, competitors can continue to use the TennisLink app or an online browser to search for and register for adult leagues.
Adult tournaments, however, are no longer located on TennisLink. If individuals attempt to find tournaments on TennisLink online or via the app, they won’t see any offerings.
Tournament search and registration has shifted to Serve Tennis. While USTA St. Louis leadership believes Serve Tennis will have an app available down the road, there isn’t one currently. So, players must use an online browser. To search for adult tournaments on Serve Tennis, click here.
If players forget which webpage they need to go to, start by visiting the USTA website (USTA.com). Under the ‘Play’ tab at the top of the page, scroll under ‘Find Local Tennis’ and click ‘Tournaments.’ Once on that page, click the drop-down arrow under ‘Player category’ and select ‘Adult (18+).’
From there, individuals can select a variety of parameters to help narrow their search. Players can type in their ZIP code and a date range to look for tourneys happening near them. They can also enter a tournament name/code or search by a specific section/district (Missouri Valley + St. Louis, for example) to net the exact results desired.
There is also a pair of exciting upcoming adult events that individuals can register for today. The USTA Missouri Valley 18 & Over NTRP Section Championship occurs July 1-3 at Dwight Davis Tennis Center. Players entering this Level 4 Open tourney can earn points toward getting invited to the 2023 USTA NTRP National Championship.
Flights are available for men’s singles and doubles as well as women’s singles and doubles at the NTRP 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Open levels. For more information, to view additional USTA Missouri Valley L4 events and to sign up to participate in this July 1-3 tourney, click here.
USTA ST. Louis is also hosting the USTA Missouri Valley Section 40 & Over NTRP Section Championship. This event takes place August 12-14 at Dwight Davis. Flights are likewise available for men’s singles and doubles and women’s singles and doubles at the NTRP 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Open levels.
As with the July 1-3 18 & Over Level 4, the August 12-14 40 & Over Level 4 provides participants the opportunity to collect points toward earning advancement to the 2023 USTA NTRP National Championship. To learn more and register for this August 12-14 tournament, click here.
