Missouri Valley / St. Louis

Note To St. Louis Tennis Community

April 14, 2020

Our world has changed during this battle with the coronavirus, but our hopes and dreams have not – to land that perfect winner! We need to keep our spirits up as we pause from our everyday activities and our ability to compete on the courts.

Your tennis life will return, and it is an honor to possess our passion for this amazing sport. You are ALL part of the USTA St. Louis community, even if we are not physically practicing and competing. Our lives are fuller and healthier because of tennis!

Soon, we will find ourselves back on the court. In the interim, you may be looking at your tennis clothes hoping you’ll be able to fit in to them!  When we get the “all clear” and our on-court activities resume we will be joyfully reunited with our teammates, as well as our opponents. Be positive, grateful and keep looking forward to that handshake at the net!

Stay safe and healthy. I look forward to seeing you back on the courts!

Beth Causey

President, USTA St. Louis
