Summer Junior Team Tennis On the Way
With the Junior Team Tennis (JTT) spring season about to be in full swing, attention is turning toward the summer JTT campaign for individuals wanting to join in on the action.
Though registration won’t begin until May 1 for the summer season, coaches can contact Toni McDonald — JTT coordinator and 10U coordinator for USTA St. Louis — to let her know of their team plans. The summer JTT season kicks off June 2. McDonald can be reached via email at jtt@ustastl.com.
If players are late to the ballgame and want to jump in on the spring JTT season, they can contact McDonald. The first spring JTT match is March 28 and players can register at any time throughout the season, but they must be registered first before playing a match.
JTT is coed, and McDonald advised a minimum age of 7-years-old for participation. Players compete in singles and doubles with each match being a no-ad set to 6 games.
Individuals interested in participating in Junior Team Tennis can reach out to these contacts for more information or join a team. The listed locations have JTT squads each season.
