Missouri Valley / St. Louis

Thank You Sue Riemann

December 03, 2019

Congratulations to Sue Riemann on her upcoming retirement as the USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Service Representative for USTA St. Louis.

Her impact on local tennis is immeasurable. Sue’s love of tennis grew from playing adult league tennis and was followed by years of volunteer service to the district that includes roles as team captain, Verification Coordinator, Vice President of Adult Tennis and District President.

In 2002, she retired from Ralston Purina and was hired by USTA Missouri Valley to assist our local community partners in programming, funding, equipment procurement and instructor training. She has been instrumental in securing grants for facility improvements, as well as the growth of school tennis and Tennis On Campus.

Her list of awards include 1996 District Contributor to Leagues, 1999 Missouri Valley Section Contributor to Leagues, and 2010 Distinguished Service to USTA St. Louis. Most recently, she received the USTA St. Louis 2019 President’s Award.

We wish Sue the best of luck in this, her second, retirement and look forward to seeing her on the courts when she’s not traveling the globe.
