USTA St. Louis District Championships

Jamie Hansen | June 23, 2020

After a months-long hiatus, USTA programming is back and full-tilt, culminating in USTA St. Louis District Championships play!

While the USTA Missouri Valley Section Championships and the USTA National Championships are cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, district championships for USTA St. Louis 18+ leagues are now slated for August – with a few differences.

The men start things off at Dwight Davis Tennis Center August 7-9, while the women wrap up the season August 21-23 at Dwight Davis and a second location to be determined.

In a typical year, the USTA Missouri Valley Section Championships are notorious for heat being a factor. The heat may very well make 2020 districts one to remember. This is the first time in the event’s history that matches will move outdoors – as well as take place this late in the season. It’s sure to make districts a fun, memorable time!
