Three Teams Win WTT Nationals

Three USTA Missouri Valley teams won 2020 World Team Tennis (WTT) Nationals at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia October 30 - November 1.

 

WTT is World Team Tennis community leagues. The format features coed teams competing with no-ad scoring, substitution, and coaching.

 

38 teams attended this year and champions were crowned in 10 different divisions.

Area winners were in order of photos:

Fire and Ice, Senior 4.0 Champions from Des Moines, Iowa

Motherfugers, Adult 4.5 Champions from Kansas City, Missouri

Magic Show, Senior 4.5 Champions from Kansas City, Missouri

Started in 1985, more than 1 million players of all ages and abilities have participated in WTT community programs, events, and competitions. 

 

The WTT Community Tennis program features year-round leagues that provide playing opportunities in parks, schools, clubs and tennis facilities in hundreds of locations throughout the country.
