USTA Missouri Valley Awarded Two All-Comers Camps

February 15, 2024

USTA Missouri Valley was awarded two USTA All-Comers Camps by USTA National for 2024. The USTA's All-Comers wheelchair tennis camps are national camps promoting instruction, coaching and awareness for wheelchair tennis.

The two camps will be held in Kansas City, Mo. and Tulsa, Okla. The Kansas City camp will be at Elite Tennis on May 10-11, while the Oklahoma camp will be at LaFortune Tennis Center on September 14-15.

The camps target 20-24 participants each from around the country ages 12 and older of all skill levels who have permanent disabling conditions that require the use of a wheelchair for sports involvement. USTA National-level wheelchair coaches, as well as world-ranked players, will provide on-court instruction and coaching.

Sports chairs and racquets are available by request, and camp fees can be pro-rated allowing people to attend any or all of the camp. In addition, able-bodied pros who are intersted in attending the camp to learn and observe wheelchair tennis are welcome. Able-bodied players looking to play will be given second priority to the participants with a disability.
