USTA Missouri Valley Tennis on Campus Fall Invite Recap

It's that time of year again for college football, falling leaves, and the USTA Missouri Valley Tennis On Campus Fall Invite! Collegiate club-tennis teams from across USTA Missouri Valley stepped away from the classroom and stepped onto the tennis courts this past weekend in Kansas City with almost 140 players vying for the coveted title of USTA Missouri Valley Tennis On Campus Fall Invite champion.

Back in Kansas City for the first time in five years, this year's event was held at the beautiful Plaza Tennis Center in the heart of the Historic Country Club Plaza. After two long days of tennis, teamwork..., and some schoolwork, the 2024 USTA Missouri Valley Tennis On Campus Fall Invite is officially 'in the history books'. 

First Place - Washington University (St. Louis)

Second Place - St. Louis University

Third Place - Oklahoma State University

In addition, the Team-Spirit Award for the most spirited team throughout the weekend went to Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville (B-Team). Go Cougars! 

New in 2024 was our Red Ball Tennis Mixer and our USTA Officiating Trivia Challenge! 14 teams participated in our inaugural Red Ball Tennis Mixer on Sunday morning which consisted of over 120 players competing on eight separate courts for prizes and championship rings (ring pops). A great time was definitely had by all! In addition, we sent a pre-tournament USTA Officiating Trivia Challenge that was completed by 12 teams and won by Iowa State University.
