Laura Canfield honored with 2026 Barbara Williams Service Award

Ten advocates for the sport of tennis at the grassroots and local levels were honored with national awards at the 2026 USTA Annual Meeting and Conference in Orlando, Fla.

Canfield is a long-standing leader in the USTA, currently serving her fifth consecutive term as a director-at-large on the USTA Board of Directors and having served as board liaison and on various task forces.

Her extensive experience includes 12 years as executive director of the USTA Middle States Sectional Association and other interim executive director roles with USTA sectional associations. Canfield's volunteer leadership also includes chairing the USTA Nominating Committee and serving on the USTA Middle States Board of Directors. She was inducted into the USTA Middle States Hall of Fame in 2012.
