USTA announces teams for 2025 ITF Masters 50 & 55 World Team Championships

July 31, 2025

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) announced the players who will represent the United States at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Masters 50 & 55 World Team Championships, which will be held August 3-8 on the red clay courts in Lisbon & Oeiras, Portugal.

The tournament is the masters equivalent of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup competitions, with top American tennis players representing their country in the 50- and 55-and-over age groups. The event will have a total of 82 teams from 30 nations across the globe competing in Portugal to become world champions. The Americans hope to win their second consecutive Maureen Connolly Cup (women’s 55 & over).

Following the ITF Masters World Team Championships, the individual championships will be held from August 9-16 at the same site. Team USA’s Eoin Collins (Austria Cup) will be looking for his third straight individual title after defeating Australia’s Igor Jovanovic last year.  He will also be looking for his second doubles title after teaming with Australia’s Garry Nadebaum for the 2024 doubles title.
