USTA announces teams for 2025 ITF Masters 75-, 80-, & 85-and-over World Team Championships

September 30, 2025

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) announced the players who will represent the United States at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Masters 75-, 80- and 85-and-over World Team Championships, which will be held October 5 to 10 on the red clay courts in Bol, Croatia.

The tournament is the super-senior equivalent of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup competitions, where top American tennis players represent their country in the 75-, 80-, 85-and-over age groups.

The event will feature a total of 70 teams – representing 23 nations from around the globe – competing to become World Champions. The Americans will look to retain three of the six cups, after last year’s American teams brought home titles in the Gardner Mulloy Cup (men’s 80 & over), Lorne Main Cup (men’s 85 & over), and Angela Mortimer Cup (women’s 85 & over) for the second consecutive year.

Following the ITF Masters World Team Championships, the individual championships will be held from October 11 to 18 at the same site. Two Americans will look to defend their overall world individual titles, including Dorothy Wasser of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (Women’s 85+) and Jimmy Parker of Santa Fe, N.M. (Men’s 80+). Wasser and Parker both won their singles and doubles tournaments in their respective age categories last year.
