USTA announces teams for 2026 World Tennis Masters 50 & 55 World Team Championships
The United States Tennis Association (USTA) announced today the players who will represent the United States at the World Tennis Masters 50 & 55 World Team Championships, which will be held July 5-10 on the red clay courts at the Oasi di Pace Club in Rome, Italy.
The tournament is the masters equivalent of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup competitions, with top American tennis players representing their country in the 50- and 55-and-over age groups.
The event will have a total of 90 teams from 34 nations across the globe competing in Rome to become world champions. The American Men’s 55 & Over team will look to make it back-to-back Austria Cup titles after Houston’s Eoin Collins, who went undefeated in all his matches, led the team to victory over Germany in the 2025 team competition.
Following the Masters World Team Championships, the individual championships will be held from July 11-18 at the same site. Team USA’s Eoin Collins (Austria Cup) will also be looking for his third-straight World Individual Title after defeating Chile’s Enrique Anglada last year in a hard fought three-setter, 4-6, 6-2, 6-0.
