USTA National Campus: By the Numbers

The USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., is the new Home of American Tennis. Set to open in late 2016, the USTA National Campus is a one-of-a kind facility that will play host to local residents of the Orlando community as well as for national, individual, league, collegiate and pro circuit events. It will also serve as the home base for USTA Player Development and the USTA’s Community Tennis division.

Tennis facilities in the U.S. that are larger than the USTA National Campus
2 Championship courts, with 500 seats each, located on site for fans to watch feature matches and Team USA events
8 Red clay courts on site, built with European red clay and designed to best prepare top U.S. players for the European clay-court circuit
12 Plexicushion hard courts installed to serve as a college tennis venue, able to host two dual matches at once; this will also serve as the home court for the University of Central Florida’s men’s and women’s tennis teams
32 PlaySight Smart courts, the official live streaming and court analytics partner of the USTA National Campus
40 Players who can be housed, at one time, in the on-site lodge while training with USTA Player Development
64 Total size, in acreage, of the USTA National Campus site; the facility is located in the Sports and Performance District in Orlando, Fla.
70 Events, approximately, that will be hosted on the campus in 2017
100 Total courts on the site, including Plexicushion  courts, European Terre Davis red clay courts, Har-Tru HydroCourts, six indoor DecoTurf courts and a cluster of 36-foot and 60-foot SportCourt Power game courts – all of which can be live streamed
300 College dual matches, approximately, scheduled to be played on the campus, highlighted by a Friday night “College Match Day” series
450 Tons of imported Italian red clay, shipped from Cremona, Italy
1,200 Elevated seats available for fans to watch collegiate matches in the collegiate stadium area
50,000 Size, in square feet, of the USTA office building set to open in July 2016; the space includes a retail store, locker rooms, a courtside café, a pro shop and the USTA administrative offices
100,000 People, if not more, expected to visit the USTA National Campus in 2017, its first full year of operation
