Tennis Kids Day Holyoke, MA



Join USTA New England for a FREE fun evening of tennis and carnival activities. This event is open to all kids ages 5-12 and their families. 

 

Wednesday, June 19th

Jones Point Tennis Courts

5:30-7:00 PM

 

 

FREE ice cream and water will be served, and all equipment will be provided!

At the Kids Day, there will be an opportunity to register for the first session of Holyoke's Tennis in the Parks program this summer. The six-week program will be on Tuesdays at Jones Point Tennis Courts from July 9 to August 13. 

 

Here is the program information: 

 

Cost- $60 (financial assistance can be provided)

 

Times- 5-6 PM: Grades 1-2  (Red Ball)

6-7 PM: Grades 3-5  (Orange Ball)

7-8 PM: Grades 6-8   (Green Ball)

 

More info- Led by an approved Net Generation coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally, and score - perfect for first-time tennis players! Once the skills are there, the kids will be playing fun organized team matches.

 

This program will use modified tennis balls, racquets, and court sizes so players can learn & play the game without the stress of leaving their comfort zone.

 

All players receive a Net Generation t-shirt & an age-appropriate racquet and ball!
