Congratulations to Sioux Falls Lincoln and to Kaleb and Sam Dobbs for once again taking home the titles May 18-20 at the 2017 South Dakota Boys State Tennis Tournament in Brandon and Sioux Falls, S.D. 

Lincoln won its fourth stright team championship with 740 team points, followed by Rapid City Stevens with 500 and Sioux Falls Washington with 453 points. 

In the individual competition, Lincoln's Kaleb Dobbs won his third straight South Dakota Flight 1 Singles Championship with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Kevin Shan of Madison High School. Sam Dobbs won again at the number 2 singles position with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Wil McDowell of Sioux Falls O'Gorman. At #3 singles, Aidan DeBoer of Sioux Falls Lincoln defeated Michael Yousef of O'Gorman 6-1, 6-4. At Flight 4 singles, Arjun Choudhry of Lincoln beat Ben Anderson of Rapid City Stevens 6-2, 2-6, 10-8. ADVERTISEMENT At #5, Graham Leonard of Lincoln overcame Jackson Ellis of Stevens 6-3, 1-6, 10-3. At #6 singles, Dawson Segrist of Stevens edged Raheel Giri of Lincoln 6-1, 2-6, 10-6.

In South Dakota, six singles champions and three doubles champions are crowned.

In Flight 1 doubles, Kaleb and Sam Dobbs claimed the title once again with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Cade Damgaard and McDowell of O'Gorman. DeBoer and Choudhry won the Flight 2 title over Ethan Reuter and Anderson 6-0, 6-2. Leonard and Akshay Choudhry won the Flight 3 title over Nic Gregg and Ethan Hays of Sioux Falls Washington 6-3, 6-3.
